Customer Reviews: Lovely toy, rotten to assemble August 22, 2010 Rockbird (Surrey, UK) My 2 year old was given this as a present and to be fair, she absolutely loves it. On the other hand, i'm not so keen. Brought it out today assuming I'd just pop it out of the box; the box was big enough to suggest it was already assembled but alas not. However, this isn't usually a problem for me so off I went. Over an hour later I was still wrestling with it. The holes and slots in the sides which are supposed to clip together are a nightmare. I had my husband holding one side while I quickly tried to screw together the other side. However, the screws included are at least an inch too short to do the job and are therefore completely useless and one side pops open as soon as you fit together the other side. The flower on the back is a piece of cardboard and the holes in the door handles aren't big enough for the screws. So, it was either fire it out of the window or hope for the best and we went for the latter. It's held together by a wing and a prayer until I find a way of fixing it properly.
But on the plus side, there are lots of pots, pans and cups etc included and my daughter has been playing with it all afternoon so points for that. It has a working ring and a timer which buzzes, nice little touches. Not bad overall but prepare to give it a good kicking during assembly.
2-3 year olds will love it February 4, 2009 R. Sagoo (London) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My 2-year old got this for Christmas, she loves it. It's feels durable apart from the doors which seem slightly flimsy and will come start to bend and deform with a little force. It's got sounds of food sizzling when you place the fry pan on, a ticking timer.
It would have been better if they had try to make it look a bit more realistic as my daughter prefers the real thing to fluffy toy versions.
Very Disappointed December 25, 2008 Bernie Mitchell (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this kitchen for my 19 month old daughter who is in love with Fifi and her Flowertots. This product I thought was overpriced at almost £70.00, but I bought it for a little less with Amazon. The product however was very fiddly to assemble. At the side of the cook/kitchen there are three little screws to put into the sides to keep together, they couldn't screw in properly. You also need to hold the two side of the kitchen together and push into grooves and wait to hear a click sound to let you know that it is in place, but once you hear this sound the other end pops out. It was very time consuming and frustrating, also one of the items was missing from the product (spatula).
